The name Octas means eight and comes from the shape of the pedestal. The sharp and smart silhouette produces a luxurious atmosphere, perfect for wine, cocktails, champagne, sherry, etc.
We want to convey a change in taste only possible with natural material.
For example, if you are pouring a dry sherry, this vessels can add a mildness and depth to the attack of sharpness, leaving a longer lasting impression.
If you are drinking a gentle, sweet sherry, they keep the taste and mellowness intact, leaving an impression of condensed flavor and taste and an aroma and astringency that stand out according to the tannin level.
Just enjoy the gentle taste that comes from using a handmade product.

RIVERET products made from natural materials that have lower thermal conductivity than ceramics, metals, and glass. The reason our products do not interfere with the taste of alcohol is that the temperature of the vessel itself remains stable regardless of the temperature of the liquid being poured into it or the ambient air temperature.

LOHAS COAT is a coating technology developed in-house that suppresses e-coli and staphylococcus aureus thanks to a synergistic effect of the paint that contains natural green tea ingredients and phytoncide already a component of the bamboo itself.All RIVERET tableware utilizes this new LOHAS COAT technology, allowing us to manufacture safer and more reliable natural dishware.
* This coating is not guaranteed to control all bacteria or long lasting benefits.

We have applied an original coating we developed that permeates inside the bamboo so that our products can be used in a normal manner just like ceramic and glass dishware. (Coating Conforms to Food Sanitation Act) The coating prevents colors from changing and staining due to use with foods like wine and coffee.

All RIVERET dishware can be used with household dishwashers. Our dishware passes the dishwasher drying resistance test, which is rare for dishware made from natural materials. Of course, washing with dish washing liquid is also possible just like with any ceramic or glass dishware.
