RIVERET is introducing its first cutting board!
The sizing is not too large and nicely fits into tight spaces. “LOHAS COAT” is put not only on the surface but also is absorbed into the material. It prevents mold and transferring of food smells very well. Also, the coating helps the cutting board dry faster.
Bamboo has high strength, giving the cutting board more durability compared to wooden ones. It is also resistant to scratches and dents, which keeps the water resistance stay longer. It minimizes transferring of food smells and the growth of mold. The cutting board has a smooth texture made by careful polishing by our craftsmen. Also recommended as a plate for serving prosciutto and cheese.
It has different colors on each side. The front is in luxurious white, utilizing the original color of the natural material. It presents the food beautifully when used as a plate. The back is in rich brown acquired by smoking the material at a high temperature. It gives a warm feeling to the appearance.

LOHAS COAT is a coating technology developed in-house that suppresses e-coli and staphylococcus aureus thanks to a synergistic effect of the paint that contains natural green tea ingredients and phytoncide already a component of the bamboo itself.All RIVERET tableware utilizes this new LOHAS COAT technology, allowing us to manufacture safer and more reliable natural dishware.

We have applied an original coating we developed that permeates inside the bamboo so that our products can be used in a normal manner just like ceramic and glass dishware. (Coating Conforms to Food Sanitation Act) The coating prevents colors from changing and staining due to use with foods like wine and coffee.
All RIVERET dishware can be used with household dishwashers. Our dishware passes the dishwasher drying resistance test, which is rare for dishware made from natural materials. Of course, washing with dish washing liquid is also possible just like with any ceramic or glass dishware.
